Connect Azure Billing Account to Spot

This procedure describes how to set up Spot account access to Azure EA read only data, which gives Spot the necessary permissions to pull Azure data and process it for the Eco Azure Dashboard.

Prerequisites​

  • An Azure EA, MCA, or PAYG account
  • A registered Spot account
  • User must be a billing account administrator, Reservation administrator, and Global Administrator
  • Member Account only, account cannot be a guest user account

Complete the following steps:

  1. Choose Microsoft Azure as your cloud provider.

  2. Select Azure Billing Account.

  3. Follow the steps in the process below:

After following the steps, you can choose to set up a strategy call with the Eco Azure team to perform an initial analysis of what savings the Eco Azure team can provide. The details are listed in the Eco Azure Getting Started guide.
