Vulnerability Scan

Spot Security can scan the VMs of the onboarded accounts and provide you information regarding the open common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs).

Getting Started with the Vulnerability Scan

To have the vulnerability scanning set up you have to provide permission and details for each account and Spot Security will scan the VMs in those accounts. Learn how to enable vulnerability scanning.

When the scan is enabled, Spot Security provides the CVEs associated with the VMs along with information such as the affected volumes, partitions, OS, packages, package version and path. The vulnerability dashboard shows the details of the vulnerability analysis.
