Set Up Payment Method

You can use a credit card as a payment method in your Spot account. These credit cards are accepted:

• American Express
• MasterCard
• Visa

Set up your payment method:

1. In the Spot console, click the user icon > Settings.
2. Click Billing > Payment Methods > Add Credit Card Details.
3. Enter the credit card details and click Add.

Keep in mind, if you pay by:

• Bank transfer (wire), you'll still see an option to add a credit card.
• AWS marketplace and the expiration date are not valid or the subscription status is not success, you'll see an invalid message.

Monthly Billing Details

Bills shows the monthly costs of the usage for your Spot products. It includes the payment calculation for a month and detailed breakdown of the costs for each product.

• Cost information is for this organization only, and not all the organizations in your billing invoice.
• The report only includes the usage costs, and not the final invoice. For example, credits and discounts you may have received are not included.
• When you view data on this page, costs in the previous month appear in the charts only after the 15th of the current month. For example, to see data that includes April, you have to view the charts on or after May 15.

To view the monthly breakdown of your Spot costs:

1. In the Spot console, click the user icon > Settings.
2. Click Billing > Bills.
3. You can see:
   • Monthly Cost Trend: a summary of the cost usage for each product in the billing month and the previous months.
   • Cost Per Product: the summary of the usage of all Spot products for the selected billing month.
   • Details: the usage and cost of each product in the selected billing month in full detail, and the Spot products that save additional costs:
     • Elastigroup: measured in savings
     • Eco: measured in savings
     • Ocean on demand usage: measured in hours
     • Ocean spot instance usage: measured in hours
